Understanding your AXIS tracking updates
At AXIS Express Delivery, we prioritise your experience both as Sender and Receiver. Rest assured, we update the status of your delivery so that you can track its location at anytime.
Tracking Statuses and what they mean..
DELIVERED: The package has successfully arrived at the recipient’s address and has been signed for or left at the location.
OUT FOR DELIVERY: The package is on the delivery vehicle and is expected to be delivered to the recipient today.
IN TRANSIT: The package is currently moving between facilities or on its way to the final delivery location.
PROCESSING: The shipment is being prepared for dispatch, which may include packing and labeling.
PENDING: The shipment is awaiting further action, which could involve customs clearance, payment, or fulfillment confirmation.
RETURNED TO SENDER: The package could not be delivered and is being sent back to the original sender, often due to an incorrect address or failure to receive.
OUT FOR RETURN: Similar to “Returned to Sender,” this indicates that the package is in the process of being sent back to the sender.
EXCEPTION: An unexpected issue has occurred that may delay delivery, such as weather conditions, damaged packaging, or address issues.
ON HOLD: The shipment is temporarily paused due to reasons like customs inspection, billing issues, or the need for additional information.
ARRIVED AT FACILITY: The package has reached a sorting or distribution center and is awaiting the next step in the shipping process.
IN CUSTOMS: The shipment is undergoing customs clearance, which can include inspections and paperwork, causing potential delays.
CANCELED: The shipment has been canceled by the sender or carrier before it was dispatched or delivered.
LABEL CREATED: A shipping label has been generated, but the package has not yet been picked up or scanned by the carrier.
DELIVERY ATTEMPTED: The carrier attempted to deliver the package but was unsuccessful, often leaving a notice for the recipient.
FORWARDED: The package is being redirected to a different address, often due to a change in the recipient’s location.
NO STATUS UPDATE: There is a delay in tracking updates, which may happen during high-volume shipping periods or technical issues.
SHIPPED: The package has left the sender’s location and is on its way to the destination, but it may not yet be in transit.
ARRIVAL SCAN: The package has been scanned upon arrival at a new facility, indicating it’s one step closer to delivery.
PACKAGE LOST: The shipment cannot be located within the carrier’s network, and a claim may need to be filed.
DELIVERY CONFIRMED: Confirmation that the package was delivered, often including the time and method of delivery, such as whether it was handed to a person or left at the door.
If we don’t hear from you within five days, the parcel will be returned to the Sender for safety. If that’s the case, all information will be published on the AXIS tracking page, so you can monitor the parcel’s journey.
